Jarden welcomes Catherine McCormack
Catherine McCormack will be joining Jarden Australia as a Managing Director and Head of Natural Resources and Utilities.
Cath was previously a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs based in New York, having started her investment banking career with Goldman Sachs in Sydney in 2006.
She will be returning to Australia with over 14 years of investment banking experience across a number of sectors in Natural Resources and Industrials including chemicals, specialty materials, oil & gas, utilities and infrastructure.
Most recently Cath has been responsible for the North American Chemicals business, providing M&A and financing advisory to a broad and diversified group of corporates and financial sponsors.
One of Cath’s key initial responsibilities will be the build out of the Jarden Australia Infrastructure team.
Cath has been a member of Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking Women’s Network Steering Committee since 2016, established the Natural Resources Women’s Network in 2018, and participated in the Women on Boards Initiative in 2019.
Cath has served as a trusted advisor to clients across a number of Natural Resources sectors and brings relevant industry experience, an international perspective, and a deep knowledge of all investment banking products.
Cath has an LLB and Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Queensland.
