SooJin Yoon

SooJin Yoon manages Jarden's Australian Legal and Compliance functions and is its General Counsel in Australia. SooJin is a skilled Corporate Finance & Markets lawyer with particular expertise in capital raisings and corporate advisory, regulatory management, risk management and compliance. She is the key point of contact on Australian Legal and Compliance matters and oversees the external engagement with regulators, government agencies, exchanges and industry bodies for Jarden in Australia. 

SooJin is an experienced professional having worked in academia, private law practice and a corporate finance & markets firm. Prior to joining Jarden in 2020, SooJin worked at UBS for 10 years in the Legal Department as the lead counsel for the corporate finance & markets and has also worked as a solicitor at Mallesons Stephen Jaques (now King & Wood Mallesons). SooJin was previously a researcher and lecturer in the Department of Government and International Relations at the University of Sydney.  

SooJin has a Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Hons.) and a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Hons.) from the University of Sydney. She also has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Sydney. SooJin is admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and as a Barrister and Solicitor in the High Court of Australia.
