Mitchell Schauer heads Jarden’s real estate Corporate Finance & Markets team in Australia. He has spent over 13 years covering the Australian real estate sector, including 11 years at UBS.
Mitchell has significant experience in corporate advisory and capital markets, with an outstanding track record of helping clients to achieve their strategic and financial objectives across dozens of transactions. He advises listed and unlisted real estate groups on M&A, direct property transactions (including sale & leasebacks), restructurings, equity raisings and IPOs. Mitchell is well known and respected as a trusted adviser, having been involved in some of Australia’s largest and most complex real estate transactions.
Prior to joining Jarden Australia upon its establishment in 2020, Mitchell was an Executive Director at UBS. He started his career at JP Morgan.
Mitchell has a German and Hong Kong Chinese multicultural background and has travelled extensively internationally. He studied at King’s College New Zealand and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics and International Business) and Bachelor of Arts (Chinese) from The University of Auckland.
