Corporate Finance & Markets firm Jarden today announced the appointment of Trevor Gerber as Chairman of the Advisory Board it is establishing to support the growth and development of its Australian platform.

Bill Trotter said Trevor Gerber will take up the Chairmanship with Jarden immediately.

Trevor Gerber is also Chairman of Sydney Airport Holdings and Vicinity Centres and a director of Tassal Group Limited. He has been a professional director since 2000, and has experience in property, funds management, hotels and tourism, infrastructure and aquaculture.

Jarden announced its expansion into the Australian market in May with the appointments of CEO Robbie Vanderzeil, Sarah Rennie, Dane FitzGibbon, John Spencer and Aidan Allen to lead the growth of Jarden Australia. Since then, the firm has continued to add market leading expertise across its core focus areas of Capital Markets, Corporate Advisory and Equities.
